Adrián García

Adrián García is originally from Arucas and is head chef at the Poema restaurant at Hermanos Padrón, in the Hotel Santa Catalina, a Royal Hideaway, run by the Barceló Hotel Group. Since 2019, he has been part of the El Rincón de Juan Carlos group, where he first formalised a kitchen internship, then a second kitchen internship, working as a cook at El Rincón de Juan Carlos and finally becoming head chef at Poema in 2025.

Academically, he has completed two cycles of training, one intermediate and one higher, both focused on gastronomy. He studied the intermediate level at Hecansa at the age of 16, and from then on he fell in love with the profession and started working in different restaurants in Gran Canaria.

He completed his advanced cooking course at the Escuela de Hostería San Cristóbal and since then his story has always been linked to that of the Padrón brothers.
