Executive Chef at Grupo Gonzalo (Salmanca, Castile-Leon)
After training as a chef in Cadiz, Jesús went to the Basque Country to work with Martín Berasategui at his Kursaal restaurant in San Sebastián. There he worked his way up to head chef within the Martín Berasategui group, at the Ni Neu restaurant and Eventos Kursaal. He later became head chef at Bistró Guggenheim Bilbao and Eventos Nerua Guggenheim Bilbao.
He continued his career in restaurants in Barcelona, Madrid and Alicante, working with Josper in Barcelona and Chefs Labs in Madrid. He is currently executive chef at Grupo Gonzalo (Mesón de Gonzalo, Las Tapas de Gonzalo, La Barra de Gonzalo - soon to open - and the group's production kitchen), a prestigious restaurant group in Salamanca.
He has also been working for years as a backstage chef at the two most important gastronomic congresses in the country: San Sebastian Gastronomika and Madrid Fusión.
